 Years ago, I had a customer who was looking for one of my Designs with one or more Blue Sapphires in it. She was thrilled with many of the Designs; but, was hesitant to pay the prices associated with the articles. She begged me to re-create one of them using synthetic stones, in order to bring down the price; but, as we only sell gemstones made by Mother Nature - that was out of the question.
 Having just attended a Gem Show; I became acquainted with the luscious violetish-blue hue of a new-comer called Iolite - and I loved its most cost-effective price per carat. I became a fan, my Sapphire customer became a fan, and I know that you will, also, become a fan.
